Ok it all began with my 17 year old Husky mix becoming more and more weary of strangers, she would become anxiety provoked whenever strangers would approach her so I brought her to a trainer who was supposed to help intoduce her to new people and help her overcome her increasing fear of people. I want her to live her last years in peace. She is an old Katrina rescue; she's had nothing but a hard life and before Katrina was used sadly as a bait dog for fighting rings. She has lost one eye hence her name Popeye. She is extremely kind and loving despite the horrors of her past, i love her to death and i think she's the perfect dog on earth, she NEVER bit, snarled, bit or growled, NEVER, even when my nephew came over and accidently stepped on her tail, she whined and shyed away, i've never seen such tolerance from a pet, shes perfect in every way and i just wanted her to not have any more stresses or fears in her life, which is almost done sadly. I got her 4 years ago... Anyway i'll get to my point, i brought her to a trainer for 3 weeks along with my puppy brown lab for 3 weeks to help introduce her to strangers and train the lab named Farro. When i got back to pick them up my worst fears came true, i saw the trainer through the window kick, yank their collars very forcefully she even said in her defense if the dog doesn't sit when u yank it then u didn't do it hard enough. I was stunned, mortified and in utter horror and shock, i called the police and now have a pending lawsuit against this "trainer", my question is even though the dogs seem suprsigly ok right now, they seem fine but i'm scared to death that this will change their loving attitude toward strangers and new people or myself. I really love their frinedly dispositions and would love for them to remain friendly and happy, to stay who they are and not become fearful, shy, agressive or anxious. Do you think that dogs live in the moment and will forget this experince? I hope and pray to god every day now that they will and now a week after the thing happened they are just as loving and friendly as they were before this. This scares me a little as they seem unphased by this treatment and altough i'm grateful what can i do? I may lose my job because of the lawsuit and if i lose the sueing could come my way and i could run out of money because i'm on a tight budget but my morals on the treatment of animals are above my own job in my eyes... Anyway plz give me ur insight on whether u think they are fine since they behave just as loving and friendly or whether this has affected them? It just breaks my heart because both dogs don't need this at all, no dog (animal) does... Especially a dog that has been though hell and back, Katrina, and a fighting ring for 10 years, a dog like that deserves nothing in its life but peace, love and compassion, and the puppy Farro makes me mad that he was treated like that, a puppy deserves nothing but love and gentle giudence, i hope this doesn't affect him at all. Please please help me, i'm beside myself and i feel so incredible guilty for bringing them to this "trainer" a.k.a. abuser, people like that have no right to call themselves trainers and i think that more checks and background checks should be done before people are allowed to call themseves dog trainers, get this the lady said she thougt the dogs needed to be taught a lesson in basic obeindence. God knows what this lady has put other pets through.... I cried my eyes out for 3 nights straight after this and now i just want her to be sued and her dog training lisece revoked. Continued swelling and minor pain 4 weeks after circumcision?

Hi all, I'm 18 and I got circumcised June 3 due to phimosis. Now all of the stitches have fallen out except one, and the incision area is beginning to look more normal, though it's still all reddish. Anyway, I'm a little concerned about my glans and the bottom right-side of the incision below my glans. Those two parts are still swollen. I have not noticed any reduction of swelling of my glans since I removed the dressing applied after the op. The mouth of the glans has also remained swollen (it's widened) and has not changed at all, there is also additional minor stinging during and for a short period after urination in the mouth, but that pain has been there for 2 weeks and has not gotten worse. The bottom part that I mentioned above is swollen whenever I wake up in the morning and then goes down during the day. I put a light layer of gauze over my penis at night to make sleeping more comfortable and every morning there are a few little yellow, hardened, and sort of mucus-looking, stains on it. The head will very occasionally ache a little, and it sort of hurts for a second around the incision area on the top, when it swings around like when I'm walking. I have seen 4 different doctors since the op, the last one I saw about a 1 week and a half ago. They pretty much all said I was fine, two subscribed me addition antibiotics. I have finished a total of 4 different antibiotics. Am I okay?

Should high school education be mandatory?

I propose that it is unnecessary at best, and a complete waste of time at worst. For one thing, most of what is learned in high school is forgotten in adulthood, due to sheer lack of use. For another, the large amounts of time spent in high school could be spent learning a practical trade or doing an apprenticeship. For those with keen interests, high school could remain an OPTION, much as university is now, and the environment would probably be more conducive to learning when it is not forced on the entire populace. Many kids are simply not suited to learning from books in classrooms for hours a day and could be learning in other ways, from family and friends, from the community at large. It is understandable that for young kids without a supportive family, compulsory education would help them, but I think beyond the age of around 15 it stops being a benefit for some and becomes a cumbersome duty, which they do simply not to fall behind. And it would help society at large; what is happening now is a strange distortion of the skilled workforce - more people are educated but are finding it harder to find specialized work because of the increased competition. Should high school become optional, the pressure would be reduced and true market forces could work to bring out the most suitable to such positions (ie. those with the aptitude AND interest). Also, it goes without saying that many people don't complete high school; the investments made to their high school education are therefore wasted. This money could be redirected to support alternative options.

My Mom recently passed away and my father is making arrangements for me to drive her car. Since I am one of the 14 million that have been unemployed since October 2010 (declined for unemployment) I have no income to buy the car from him, or pay for the insurance. and must have a vehicle when I actually do get a job. The vehicle will remain registered in his name and is insured by State Farm in the state of Mississippi. His SF agent told him he could add me as a driver to his policy. He carries full coverage. What are the implications of this scenario with regard to insurance and motor vehicle laws? Essentially, I will be driving a vehicle in a another state that is registered to someone else, in another state. You don't know what you don't know so I don't know where to start. Do I need to be compliant in both states? Or, just Missouri? I just want to make sure from an insurance standpoint I am covered for the worst case scenario and that if I were pulled over by an officer in Missouri I have the necessary paperwork to show them. Can anyone tell me what the red flags are in this situation and what I need to do to adequately protect myself, others in the event of an accident, and to be legal while driving in the State of Missouri? GM Bailout - What do you think?

The bailout still helps circulate money in the United States because GM doesn't only operate in Mexico. If GM was not bailed out, thousands of jobs would have been lost and it would have resulted in a huge economic contraction. Now, GM is seeing profits and are on track to repay the loan before the original deadline. I do agree that these cars should be produced in the United States. But when someone buys a foreign car, the money goes overseas and it does not help our economy. The government saved a U.S. company, saved jobs, prevented an economic contraction, and the money is on track to be repaid before the deadline. Ultimately, good decision.

You definitely want to keep Howard and Noah, both legitimate double-double guys that block shots (Noah is at about 1.6 per game and Howard is 5th in the league right now with 2.1, which kind of surprised me because I would think that Howard would be getting closer to 3 and leading the league). If compare Gortat and Ibaka, their stats are about the same except Ibaka blocking about 2 while Gortat has about 1 per game. Furthermore, I would trade Gortat, and receive Love, because you can't ignore the fact that he leads the league in rebounding and gets around 20 ppg, getting 2-3 assists per game, and shooting close to 90% from the stripe and over 40% from 3 (even though he probably doesn't take that many from his position). When i was a teenager i was subjected to unusual side effects that normally wouldn't happen but for some reason it happened on one night when i went out with my parents to eat at a restaurant, then later that night on our way home from the restaurant i had altered vision where night time would look like the early mornings where it is all dark blue and also all the lights i saw where all blue. car headlights, street lights were all blue and i also noticed that when i got from the city to the highway it felt like it was a short trip, but know it takes at least 4 minutes but for some reason it felt like it was only 10 seconds and later on when i got home and when i was about to fall to sleep, i had this feeling like i was going to die because my body felt really cold and i could not move any of my limbs i was somewhat awake but my vision was very dim and saw a cloaked figure heading towards me slowly but i somehow shook out of it and was fully awake and went to sleep later on. But these sleeping problems attacked me on some nights. i am now 22 and these sleeping problems have seemed to have ceased for good or just remain dormant for now.

i would not drop any1 except maybe Gortat. Derozan only gets you points, which by the looks of your team you really do not have any problems with. I have a good feeling about Gortat especially if you looked at his recent games when he has gotten plenty of playing time. I also would hold on to Ibaka because Ibaka has proven to be great when he gets playing time. I feel like Jeff Green might be dealt by the trade deadline, and the only reason why Ibaka is not consistent is because Green plays like 40 mins a game even though he sucks. First of all i'm far from having a job or having any money. But is because i'm afraid that if i do get a job i'm going to have remain in my neighborhood. Pain urinating after 5 hours in a pool today?

I spent a long time in the pool today, around 4-5 hours. I spent around 3 hours straight in at some point, and I drank quite a lot of fluids which included lager and Cola drinks. Driving a car for extended period registered to another person in another state?

My Mom recently passed away and my father is making arrangements for me to drive her car. Since I am one of the 14 million that have been unemployed since October 2010 (declined for unemployment) I have no income to buy the car from him, or pay for the insurance. and must have a vehicle when I actually do get a job. (Too much info I'm sure). Anyway, my father has since had the car re-registered in his name in the state of Mississippi. I live in Missouri. The objective is for him to loan me the car for an extended period of time to drive in Missouri full-time. The vehicle will remain registered in his name and is insured by State Farm in the state of Mississippi. His SF agent told him he could add me as a driver to his policy. He carries full coverage. What are the implications of this scenario with regard to insurance and motor vehicle laws? Essentially, I will be driving a vehicle in a another state that is registered to someone else, in another state. You don't know what you don't know so I don't know where to start. Do I need to be compliant in both states? Or, just Missouri? I just want to make sure from an insurance standpoint I am covered for the worst case scenario and that if I were pulled over by an officer in Missouri I have the necessary paperwork to show them. Can anyone tell me what the red flags are in this situation and what I need to do to adequately protect myself, others in the event of an accident, and to be legal while driving in the State of Missouri? I'm a Raptors fan and I'll admit Bargnani is my favorite player. Still, I don't see any justifiable reason for trading him. He averaged 21 points this year and was by far their best player..yes Derozan was good, but he hasn't become a complete offensive player yet. Most Raps fans just want the team to build around Derozan and Ed Davis, but how would the team be any better? Bargnani is playing out of postion obviously (should be at PF) and that hurts the team. They should trade for someone like Marcin Gortat who can rebound and defend and allow Bargnani to play the 4. Andrea needs to get better defensively, but offensively he can shoot the 3, drive better than probably any big man besides Dirk, post up and shoot off the dribble. A sensitivity to pain is many times a lack of vitamin B-1. Your tolerance to pain is a lot to do with if you are scared because of it. When you know what causes your pain, and it is not something that will rise the fear in you that you will die from it, it is tolerated easier. It can be ignored to a large degree, it depends on the person and their attitude toward pain, for many pain is "bad" for others it just is, and they deal with the isness of life with no preferences. But there is something, I do not know what, like when I was a cook the cook said look I can put my hand on the grill, he did so and did not get burned, after three months I could do the same, I do not know why.

Canadian with Green Card crossing the border back to Canada after a felony? Can I get back into the US?

4 years ago, I was arrested with a small amount of felony narcotic on me. (Under a gram.) I am a Canadian, living in the US with a green card and have been living here for 19 years with no prior arrests...not so much as a speeding ticket. The case went to court and I was ordered to do 3 months of NA meetings, then report back. The case was then closed and I was informed that it should not affect my Green card status or crossing the border. My lawyer told me that it would simply remain within the court system and not affect other agencies. Is this true? My brother is getting married in 2 months in Canada. Can I safely cross to Canada and safely cross back? And when my Green Card comes up for renewal will I be able to renew it?

Co-worker pulled a knife on me?

I had just started working at this pallet company for 3 weeks and since the first week one of the other guys there took advantage and I think bullied me. He would have me grab him things a couple feet away from him, stuff he should be getting himself since that was part of his job and I was busy doing my own thing but i grabbed what he needed anyways. Then after a week his request became ridiculous like having me grab him sodas and he would for no reason kick my piles of trash and sawdust I had just swept up and tell me to "clean this S**T UP" he would put his hands on my food and other belongings like my cell phone. one day he put his hands on me and tried to be funny or look tough by putting my hand behind my back and push up like police do, that's when thins started to go down hill and I stopped doing what he would tell me to do and started to ignore him and he told me I have to start doing what he told me to do( He was no higher that me and he had just been working there for 2 weeks longer than me.) he then start throwing old gloves, that the coworkers rolled up into balls and throw them at co workers as a joke, I thought that was un professorial since we are working at a pallet company around nail guns and saws so me and this other guy had bad blood from the fist week. then one day my supervisor came up out of nowhere and put his hands on me and pushed me back out of the way almost making me trip on a step and pushing a stack of wood out of the way to turn the machine off... I couldn't hear him call for me ( if he was) since I had my protective hearing muffs on and my head phones on under those ( I had gotten permission from the same supervisor I could listen to music) that had made me angry that he pushed me out of his way and i started to hold that anger in me the next day I was working in my area when when the guy had came up put his hands on my ear muffs and pulled me out of the way from another machine I was aware of my surroundings and knew what was going on so I think it was just another reason to touch me, I then turned around and pushed the guy and told him to never put his hands on me ever again and stated to yell at him. later that same day we had a safety meeting and I left my water bottle behind and when i went to pick it up he got up and kicked it over, I went out to the parking lot to see this guy sitting down giving me dirty looks, I then Screamed " WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU LOOKING AT" he got up started to walk at me and said "what the F**k you just say to me" I thought there was about to be a fight so I dropped what I was holding and that's when he pulled knife on me I remained calm and planed my that I would start backing up keeping my distance then lunge at the knife but never did. eventually he put the knife away and I found out later that I had been fired for pushing him and he never got fired for pulling a knife on me since the bosses like this guy. I feel this guy saw me as weak and took advantage of me to make him self feel powerful and good about himself. What do I do about this whole thing?

Joel Anthony is a better center then Bargnani. Andrea is more of a forward in my opinion.He's a horrible defender, doesn't produce power inside, & can barley rebound for a seven footer. While driving i can feel heat near my feet?

92 caprice 88,000 miles i've been driving and realized i can feel heat in my feet and also my passengers say they can feel the heat. its summer time and i dont feel the heat when the ac is on only when its off and i've been driving for awhile. My temp. Gauge isn't work and remains at 0 so i cant tell if its over heating. The car doesn't cut off and runs strong at night (75 degrees temp) but a little sluggish during the day 85+ degrees. I know that inland areas of Northern Minnesota get hot a few times a year - and they average in the upper 70's for highs in July, but I was wondering if it ever gets hot in Grand Marias or Sky Harbor? For example, on July 1, DULUTH INTERNATIONAL hit 91 degrees, while at the same time, Grand Marias and Duluth Sky Harbor remained only at 51 degrees! 40 degrees colder! I could not believe how cold it was on July 1st of this year in those areas. If anyone lives in Duluth and remembers July 1st, was it more like 90 degrees outside or was it in the 50's?

Suggestions comments on my weight loss plans?

First off, I am 5'8" and about 190-200lbs depending on the week lol. I have tried various weight loss methods in the past but I get bored with them in a few weeks and stop them. Nothing really worked and I got discouraged. However, I am about to enter college and I am not completely happy with entering in this condition. I move in on August 13 and I want to be at least below 180. I have been thinking of various things to do and this is what I have came up with. I am a coke addict (coca-cola/soda). I drink at the least 6 sodas per day. I am planning on cutting them all out and drinking water. Also I'm planning on getting up much earlier, at about 8am every day to ride my bike around my neighborhood, (approx. 3 miles long). And I work at a restaurant from 11-2:30 and 5:00-9:00 so I'm also planning on either riding my bike or running around it once more during the break between those times since it will still be daylight out. So, what are your thoughts/suggestions? Do you think this plan will help me acheive my goal? Is it too much/too little?

Your team looks okay, but it depends on the size of you league. I would assume its about 10-12 people looking at your roster, although for a 10 person league your team looks a bit weak. It also depends on whos on your Free agency wire. Im not too high on Dejuan Blair because he is notorious for having a couple great games and then completely disappearing for the next month, so you should keep an eye on that. Chuck Hayes is also droppable right now. He put up good numbers for a couple weeks when Brad Miller and Jordan Hill were out, but now that theyre back, Hayes numbers should go down (as evident as his last game where he only played 25 minutes, the lowest in a few games).
