Why does food taste good while im high?

I had some Cereal while I was high and I swear it was the best thing ever. Then I had some Pizza and I had died and gone to heaven. I can't stand drinking any Coke but while high ill drink some, I love Coke Cola when high. Why does everything seem so funny as well? I watched TV and it was the best. Sometimes when my friend said something it sounded like total gibberish. No marijuana is not illegal for me since I have a prescription. Please don't tell me how Marijuana is a bad drug, because first of all Marijuana is a herb. Thanks!
