Started taking the contraceptive pill 12 days ago and still bleeding?

What kind of birthcontrol pills do you take? That has never happened to me but, usually i start my pack on sunday and take it for 3 weeks & my last pill i end up taking on saturday night. Then i always start my period on Wednesday and it ends usually around saturday or sunday. then i re start my new pack on sunday & if i'm still bleeding when i start the pills back up it usually goes away in a day or so. If i were you I would call your Dr. and ask if that's okay. I know that bleeding is a side effect though but, if it continues i would definitively call your doctor,
