What do you make of this?

Me and this girl were together for about 9 months. Then one night things went badly and she said it was over, but we would still remain fairly close friends. Then she got a new boyfriend who doesn't always treat her the greatest. They have been together for about a month now. However whenever she is with me she still acts like she likes me, and doesn't really try to hide that she has feelings for me. She even said"We're going to end up together one day anyways" I realllllllllly like her. What do you make of this? I'm kind of confused.
